With a Breeder's Health Guarantee -- that the cat is healthy at the time of adoption, the cat is from a FeLV/FIV negative home, is current on all appropriate vaccinations and wormings, and is free from external parasites.

Already Altered -- SmokeyCoons believes there are too many unwanted pets out in the world already and we're not going to contribute to this irresponsible act. Therefore, all companions go to their new home already spayed or neutered. There are NO exceptions to this rule. This procedure is done by our cattery veterinarian, Dr. Joe Romatowski, Cat Clinic of N.E. Seattle when the Coonlets are 14-16 weeks of age. Early spay/neuter is a common event now in U.S.A. veterinary medicine. See the "Favorites Related Sites" page for more information on this medical practice.

Microchip Identification -- For the cat's protection and safety, an AVID microchip is implanted into the Coonlet during the spay/neuter procedure for identification purposes. The Breeder retains the primary ownership rights as guardian of the cat; the Companion Owner is listed as an Alternate Contact with AVID. This clause is non-negotiable.

Lifetime commitment to the cat's welfare -- If the Owner becomes unable or unwilling to provide a quality life for this cat, the Owner will advise SmokeyCoons who will assist in placing the kitten/cat in a new home.

Provide for a healthy and clean environment through proper care and attention including annual visits to the vet for check-ups and appropriate vaccination boosters as necessary.

Feed the cat a well balanced diet of only premium cat foods as recommended or approved by the Breeder.

Will not allow the cat outdoors unless it is an enclosed, screened outdoor facility.

Will not declaw or devocalize the cat under ANY circumstances.

If at anytime the cat is found to be malnourished, abused or neglected, the Owner will surrender the cat to the Breeder unconditionally and without any refund of purchase price.
